Before sipping the fine wine in the Sonoma Valley Jim was at WSLQ/AC and WFIR in Roanoke and has had stints at KEZR/Hot AC and KBAY/AC in San Jose, Rocker WQFM in Milwaukee, WHDH/AC in Boston, Rock station WHJY, WHJJ/News Talk and WHIM/Country in Providence.

System of a Down have announced that they will play their first shows in North America in five years. So far, the band have revealed a seven-date trek that begins May 10 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Gogol Bordello will open each show.
Last fall, SOAD said they would be reuniting for 2011 shows – their first since going on hiatus in 2006. The band already have a bunch of European festival appearances scheduled for this summer. There’s no word on if the band have plans to record a new album anytime soon. (more…)
