MushroomheadMushroomhead, the influential industrial metal band from Cleveland, OH, released its seventh studio album “The Righteous & The Butterfly” May 13th via Megaforce Records. Recorded in Cleveland, the band self produced the record with longtime co-producer Bill Korecky. The CD consists of 14 tracks, ranging from songs about survival and balance  (“Devils Be Damned”, “Qwerty”, “Son Of 7”) to emotionally charged anthems (“For Your Pleasure”, “Worlds Collide”) to a riff heavy rendition of Adele’s #1 hit “Rumor Has It”. Blacklite District

header-93124In an industry where the success of a band is measured one spin at a time, Blacklite District is becoming a superstar with their first single, “With Me Now”, but of course they are much more than that and of course it takes much more than a hit song to survive in today’s world of rock. It takes a good dose of humility, genuineness and a ton of hard work. Royal Bliss

It has been nearly 16 years of bliss, Royal Bliss that is. Royal Bliss is modern rock with equal parts beauty and tragedy. The band has already been through enough to justify their own VH1 Behind the Music episode complete with addiction, near death experiences, car crashes, and law suits.

Hailing from Salt Lake City, Royal Bliss started in a basement as a few kids who had a passion for music and a drive to succeed. Striving to further their own abilities while building their fan base at the same time was always the ultimate goal. The music has been a message to those who listened, evolving every step of the way. From the early days when the lyrics echoed that of a late night frat party, to the deep, meaningful, and sometimes cries for help, the process of evolution is undeniable.

Trivium2013-1No matter the medium, every artist reaches a point of imminent self-realization. It’s the moment when the vision finally comes into focus and the pieces fit perfectly. The identity becomes grasped tighter than ever, while boldly forging ahead into the future. Exterior circumstances fall into place, and everything coalesces into a perfect storm of blood, sweat, and tears. For Trivium, Vengeance Falls rises from that crossroads. The band’s sixth full-length album fuses their patented tough and technical metallic prowess with courageous and charismatic melody, ultimately yielding their heaviest and most hypnotic work thus far. Everything happened at the right time, as if it were meant to be all along… (more…)
